The Shire of Trivium

The Belgian branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism

We are a brand new Shire of the SCA based in the kingdom of Drachenwald. We are just an Incipient Shire for now, which means we are sponsored by our supporting shire of Depedene Under Wychwood.

We are few but we are determined to recruit and grow as large as possible. Geographically speaking, our territory includes all of Belgium as our nearest groups are just too far away for many of us. Our current members are located in Marchin (between Namur and Liège) , Hasselt, and Antwerp so we have members on both sides of the language barrier.

Our biggest strength in this Shire is our love for the Arts and Sciences. On this site you can expect to see many tutorials and explanations of various A&S topics.

Our goal is to recruit new members in each member’s home area so that everybody can have people nearby to play with. Eventually, we would love to split into several sister-shires but that’s a long way in the future. We are working on planning some recruitment events around Belgium in the near-ish future so if you are interested in attending or would like us to come to your town, please don’t hesitate to contact one of our admins. We all speak English and every one of us speaks either French or Dutch so whichever language you prefer to speak, one of us should be able to help you.

About Us

The Shire of Trivium was founded in 2015 as a place for friends, both old and new, to come together and share their passion and excitement. We want to create a comfortable, inclusive and considerate environment where everyone is free to contribute and enjoy.
